The Robusta plant likes it warm, gets by with short seasons and can be brewed with espresso, filter coffee and many coffee specialties. At Flatberry you will find beans from both types of coffee, Robusta, Arabica and Blends. They complement each other to a full crema, but retain a soft character.
In direct comparison, the Robusta has earned its name as a plant. Thanks to its high caffeine content, it is resistant to many insects and thus survives in lush vegetation. That is why it is often referred to as lowland coffee, which is at home in warm zones from Africa to South Asia, Southeast Asia and South and Central America. In contrast to the Arabica beans, the Robusta was only discovered in the 19th century and also made usable through modern coffee roasting.
