PRESS STAMP CAN

The press stamp can, as it is offered by brand suppliers such as Bodum, is also known under the name French Press.

Almost every coffee lover has it at home, the Bodum press stamp can. The coffee maker is known and loved as a coffee accessory for its simple but precise way of preparing the finest coffee. Instead of lengthy observation or holding a filter in your hand, you can brew a perfect coffee with the press ram within a few minutes with just one infusion and pressing the filter down. The Bodum press stamp jug is a classic coffee accessory in European kitchens. Also known as the French Press, the smooth, straight jug is ideal for a quick cup of coffee in between.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE PRESS STAMP CAN

The name of the jug already describes its structure. The Bodum and similarly structured French Presses are straight, bulbous vessels with a stainless steel stamp in the middle. This consists, on the one hand, of a long guide through the lid placed above it, and on the other hand, of a stainless steel sieve that is fine enough to displace coffee powder with a high degree of grinding.

If you want to brew a cup of coffee in the French Press, add about 21 grams of coffee powder to every 300 ml of water in the jug previously rinsed with warm water. Bring some water to the boil for the coffee maker and wait a minute after the boil to bring the temperature down to around 94 degrees. The infusion takes place directly on the coffee powder. Place the stamp on the water surface and wait until the coffee has a pleasant dark color. When the filter is pressed down after 3 to 5 minutes, the development of the aromas is interrupted and the filter is pressed onto the floor. The infusion remains, which can be served after a minute.

DOES BODUM COFFEE TAST BETTER?

The press stamp jug allows you to enjoy a full-bodied coffee, in which you can taste the aromas of the beans particularly well. Because the water comes into direct contact with the powder from freshly roasted coffee beans in the stamping jug for several minutes.

As a result, it absorbs the body, the acid and the aromas particularly well. Choose a grind between 7 and 8 to enjoy our coffees from the Bodum press stamp can.
