ESPRESSO POT

The espresso pot, also called Bialetti after the manufacturer, is the classic coffee maker. With the Mona Bialetti espresso pot from our range, you therefore acquire a high-quality espresso maker that makes strong coffee, espresso or mocha a real treat.

Espresso is one of the most popular types of coffee in the world and is traditionally brewed in many cultures. For an espresso pot full of strong roasting, you need around 25 grams of the finest espresso powder in 500 milliliters of water. With the Bialetti or espresso maker you can pre-cook several cups of espresso or brew 1 or 2 cups of coffee as needed.

CORRECTLY USE THE ESPRESSO COOKER AND ESPRESSO POT

An espresso pot like the Mona or Bialetti is very easy to use. All you need for the espresso pot is a free hotplate, some water and of course our Flatberry coffee. With a few simple steps you can conjure up a coffee specialty with an excellent taste. A good espresso not only contains roasted aromas in the taste, but also develops aromas of chocolate, nuts and other contained tones in the espresso pot.

Rinse your espresso pot or espresso maker with a little warm water and fill the bottom part with water. Then add about 25 grams of powder per 500 milliliters in the top pot or the existing sieve insert. Make sure that the bottom jug is completely full while all parts are screwed tight before you place the espresso jug on the stove.

WHEN IS THE ESPRESSO IN THE ESPRESSO CAN COMPLETED?

Coffee from the espresso pot is full-bodied and strong. Whether Mona or Bialetti espresso maker, all models have one disadvantage: they are not transparent. However, you need to know when your espresso in the Bialetti is ready to avoid boiling over. Therefore, pay particular attention to when foam forms. The water boils and puffs up the finely ground coffee. This rises in the Bialetti and develops its taste.

If you see foam slowly rising at the opening of the espresso maker, immediately pull the bialetti off the plate. For perfect taste, let the espresso maker, Mona or Bialetti rest for a few seconds before you serve the coffee. The espresso maker must then cool down before using it again.
